Stoke Poges Players are a small amateur dramatic group of approximately 15 members who meet every Monday with members aged from 15 to 70+.The Players have two productions each year one in May and the other, usually a pantomime, at the beginning of December.You don’t need experience to join us just be willing to give it a try, whether that is on or off stage. We always need help off stage to put on a production so if you are a bit nervous take a backstage job until you are ready to give the stage a try

Synopsis:Howdy Folks! Head west pard’ners and join the townsfolk of Moose Creek for this tale of the good, the bad and the just plain silly!David Buchanan’s Geronimo! is a hilarious wild west pantomime set in 1870’s American mid-west.Sassy saloon owner, Belle Starr is excited when nephew Billy arrives to claim his inheritance – a map to a gold mine. Peace is shattered when Black Bart McGraw and his gang of outlaws come to town, stealing the map and kidnapping local girlie-gunslinger, Annie Oaktree!Will Annie escape? Will Sherriff Roscoe T. Witt, Belle and Billy be able to recover the map and bring Black Bart to justice? What will happen when our heroes encounter the local injun, Geronimo, Big Chief of the Choctaws?
